Wednesday work

Hello, friends,

Today I was super busy. An old friend/former co-worked came over to visit and see the house. Naturally, the cleaning went on till she actually arrived. One of the chores was to sweep off and spiff up the front entrance, as well as to wipe the dust off the mailbox, since it is eye level and right next to the door. The other was to refresh the decor. Here is how the front looks now:

I moved some of the flowers and feathers around to improve the balance. Then, on the side facing the corner street, is this:

A small tribute to the experience that is August in Texas. The lumpy gray shadow in the glass would be me, sorry about that. May you enjoy these hot and hazy dog days wherever you live, too.
